Set the Stage fall fashion event!

I had the opportunity to be a part of Palais Royal's fashion event, Set the Stage, with five other incredible Houston bloggers. We each showcased our fall transitional looks with Palais Royal's new items this season.

To prepare for the show, we first got the opportunity to attend a private shopping event where we each got to put together our fall looks with different brands throughout the store. It was so hard to choose from the huge selection they had. I wanted to buy everything in sight! From velvet, to leopard and the knee high booties and boots! My bank account was definitely getting major damage after my visit.

Here are a few of our mannequin looks that we styled for the store located in the Meyerland Plaza.

Everyone had such fabulous looks! The mannequins really displayed each individual style. I'm all about the pleats, cold shoulder, and utility jackets for fall!

These ladies worked the runway! Look at the new LUX trends! So much confidence and smiles all around! What a successful show and turnout!

I'm sharing with you my transitional fall look that I styled for the event. I love jumpsuits for fall. I think they are chic, modern, and easy to accessorize. Blazers and jackets are also my go to. Not only for fall, but for any setting. Jackets really help complete your look if you feel that your outfit is too dull. In my case I paired this striped tweed Anne Klein blazer with my beige Vince Camuto jumpsuit. I added this blazer to help accent my jumpsuit and to give the look more patterns and dimension.  Jumpsuits in general are my favorite, but these wide leg ones I really love because they help make me look taller! I'm only 5'3" so anything that helps make my legs look longer is always a plus in my book. You can't really see my shoes but block heels will forever have my heart. I have yet to wear a block heel that is incredibly uncomfortable. Last but not least, for my jewelry I've paired a simple pair of gold hoops. I'm usually a studs kind of girl but I definitely love these hoops. All in all, my outfit was so comfortable and I felt so chic! Can't wait to wear this jumpsuit to work and out to dinner! That wraps up my look for the event! Hope you enjoyed my look for the Palais Royal event!

Again, Thank you to Palais royal for having all of us and hosting this amazing event!
