Wedding Dresses: Part #2
Hey Y'all! Happy Wedding Wednesday!!
A few months ago, I shared with y’all a few of the dresses and styles I tried on.
Today I will be linking more styles and a few of my favorite dresses! They were definitely in my top
None of these are my wedding dress.
Although they were gorgeous designer dresses, I had a budget and I stuck with it.
Which leads me to, what do you think about trying on dresses that are not in your price range? I’ve had this question asked more than once.
In my opinion, it can be a big risk because you don’t want to fall in love with something that is way over your price point but personally for me, it’s not an issue.
My thought was, do I want to over spend on just the dress and not have the cake I want, the flowers I want, the shoes I want, etc. So that is how I kept a clear and straight mind about my wedding dress budget.
WeddingWire’s budgeting tool helped me keep track with my spending and helped me stay so organized as well!
As much as I love a designer dress, there are other things I would rather allocate my costs to.
That doesn’t stop me from trying on every dress I laid my eyes on. I’m never going to get the chance to go to a bridal shop to try on gowns again, so I went crazy and tried on everything! I tried everything even if it was over my budget! It was so fun for me!
Shout out to my bridesmaids for sticking it out and going to so many different places with me.
Loved this dress so much but it was blush and I wanted a white dress.
Y’all. OSCAR DE LA RENTA.
This dress was beautiful and the tulle wasn’t as heavy as I thought it was going to be!
Okay so the beading on this dress is AMAZING but it was WAY too heavy.
I wasn’t in love with the skirt. It was too slanted and different for me.
The train and details on this were phenomenal! I just didn’t love it on my body.
I can’t believe we are 3 months out and I’m so excited to marry my lobster.
Thank you to WeddingWire for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
Until next time!
